The Hoppameleon

by Gayla McCord on May 4th, 2005

I just got this book for my daughter and thought it was very cute! An unkown creature sets out to find out how exactly he fits in with the rest of the world. He has many similarities to other animals, but ultimately finds out that he’s a different species. It’s a great way to teach children about the differences in people and races.

The book is fabulously illustrated, with colors and bright images that pop off the page. It is a hard back book with 32 pages, and is written by Paul Geraghty, published by Barron’s Educational Series.
