by Hsien-Hsien Lei on July 9th, 2005

Pokémon toys being recalled.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Pokémon USA Inc. are recalling stuffed Pokémon toys that may contain the tips of sewing needles.

Description: The recall involves 10 “Pokédoll” plush toy characters including Pikachu, Minun, Plusle, Skitty, Evee, Munchlax, Mew, Ho-Oh, and Lugia. Pikachu comes in a 12-inch and 6-inch tall version. All of the other characters are approximately 6-inches tall. They have a sewn-in label that reads: “ Pokémon Center ©2005 Pokémon /Nintendo /Creatures/ GAME FREAK” on one side and “2005 MADE IN CHINA” on the other.

To request a recall kit, go to the Pokémon Center website.

This is very tragic. I am just a kid. I own some Pokemon toys, and none of them are recalled
