Must-See Movies for Children Meme
The British Film Institute says the following 50 films should be seen by children by the time they’re 14 years old. Which of the films have you seen and which have your kids seen? Copy the list and highlight in bold which ones you have seen yourself and italicize the ones your kids have seen. I’ve marked the ones my family has seen. (I can’t believe some of these movies made the list, like Some Like It Hot?!)

Yes, some of the items included on the "must see top 50" left me scratching my head too.
I mean really, I’ve seen some of the ones they list and the movies were DEAD BORING. Or mind-boggling that they think they’re appropriate for kids.
To Kill a Mockingbird is something I think all kids should READ, but that’s a High School level book at the minimum- age 15+.
That reminds me of my initial reaction to this Top 50 list- which was "They are recommending kids watch films? Kids need to be READING!"
