The Hamilton Toy Museum in Callander, Scotland
A travel book that’s “a collection of the underdogs of British tourism” has included in its listings the Hamilton Toy Museum in Callander, Scotland. The authors say,
[It] sprawls energetically all over its home as if a toy box had been up-ended for playtime.
At every turn something surprising and yet comforting catches the eye. There is so much here that the family constantly forget what they have and whats on display.
This is British childrens history with all the bumps and lumps left in.
I’ve never been to Europe but if I ever do, this toy museum looks like a fun stop. I know my son would definitely want to see their collection of Thunderbirds.

Q, That’s why you should always leave for holidays with one empty suitcase or you’ll end up like me always having to buy another on the road. :P
