Alphabet Magnets
When my son started showing interest in fridge magnets at the age of 11 months, I decided that it was probably not a good idea to let him play with the expensive/sentimental magnets that we bought from our travels. And, since I didn’t want to stop him exploring things that he’s interested in, I decided to go for alphabet magnets. I think they’re great because:
1) They can work as fridge magnets, which can still encourage my son’s interest.
2) They introduce three basic elements: shapes, letters/numbers, and colours.
3) They’re inexpensive and fun!
Some of the best fridge magnets for kids are big, chunky ones. If they come with portable magnetic books or pages for on-the-go playing and learning, all the better.
