Toys for Children on the Autism Spectrum
Over on the Genetics and Public Health Blog where I do most of my posting, I’ve talked about autism from the scientific perspective. As a parent, though, I feel a great deal of sympathy for the daily struggles parents of children on the autism spectrum experience.
Toys are universal pleasers that can bring happiness to all children. Bonnie Sayers, BellaOnline’s autism disorders editor, has a great article pointing out toys that have been a hit with her two boys, both of whom are also on the autism spectrum:
