Wow, Today’s Baby Toys!

by Stephanie Patag on September 20th, 2005

Recently, a friend had her third child, a girl this time after two boys. I usually don’t give toys as gifts and tend to go for what I think are “more practical items” like baby clothes. However, we’ve been traveling lately and it really left me little time to shop — so, it’s Amazon to the rescue. I found these adorable toys made by the same company that made *my* babies’ toys — when I still had babies. My youngest is now almost 4 (sniff). These really made me drool, with their colors and textures and sounds — almost made me want another baby LOL!!! Lamaze’s toys are great because they really put a lot of thought into them. These are award-winning toys that help baby’s brain development so they’re not “just another toy”. I’m really envious about the musical inchworm — my kids had this but they weren’t musical back then!

My son loved the cube when he was an infant!

It’s funny what you said about gift-giving preferences. I usually don’t give clothes because everyone has such different tastes. I prefer toys because nobody can have enough toys! ;)

Our next door neighbours gave us the Lamaze musical inchworm as a gift when our daughter was born, and she loves it!

hi Lei, i guess after 4 kids i’ve had it up to my neck in toys and appreciate more practical gifts now myself. we’ve had to donate tons of stuff and the kids always have only a few favorites anyway. i even had to resort to rotating toys on a monthly basis at one point just so the novelty of toys isn’t lost on them!

hi chris and lisa, they are wonderful aren’t they? such bright colors! i wish i had these when WE were babies!
