Our Favorite Vacation DVD, CD, Book, and Toy
We’re visiting family and friends in California this month and as usual, our son has been showered with gifts. A few have emerged as clear winners:
1. The Wiggles Live Hot Potatoes - Unlike many DVD’s and CD’s of live shows, this one has great sound quality and camera angles. I doubt many in the huge theater watching the actual show got as a good view of the stage as we did.
2. Ralph’s World The Amazing Adventures of Kid Astro - Thanks for the great recommendation, Krissy! Our favorite song is Fee Fi Fo Fum.
3. Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson - The purple crayon sketches in the 50th anniversary issue is still charming and clever.
4. Laser Blastin Buzz Lightyear - Some parents might not be crazy about the missle launcher gun, but my son’s had a blast (ha!) with it.
