Asia for Kids: Teaching Asian Languages and Cultures

The world is finally going global and it’s getting easier for bi- or multi-lingual families to teach their kids about other languages and cultures besides their primary one (in our family, English is the primary language but the culture part is a mishmash).
If you’re looking for material to use in teaching your child about Asian languages and cultures, you should check out Asia for Kids, which covers China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Taiwan, Thailand, Hmong, India, Asian American, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Middle East, Bali, Indonesia, Nepal, Burma/Myanmar, and Tibet. Whew! If you can’t find what you need here, maybe it doesn’t exist.

Those dolls are adorable! reminds me of the cloth dolls my Mom made for my brothers, and for other people’s kids as well. :)

Q: If S showed any sort of interest in dolls, I’d be making some too but he only likes spaceships and aircrafts. *sigh*
