Welcome to Play Library! I’m Hsien-Hsien Lei, mother of one toddler boy and wife to one playful husband. I’ve been contributing to this blog since the start when it was called the Children’s Books, Toys and Things Blog.
At Play Library, you’ll not only find product highlights, you’ll find news and commentary about everything in a child’s world. Because while we may not be able to live an ascetic life without “things,” we can certainly choose what we allow into our everyday lives. Chosen wisely, everything can enrich us in both tangible and intangible ways. This blog is not just about cool stuff for kids and the adults in their lives, it’s also a place to think and ponder how these materialistic goods influence us.
Like most busy families, my family and I don’t play as much as we should and we certainly aren’t able to get our hands on all the amazing books, toys, and other children’s items out there.
