Brain Quest Cards

by Hsien-Hsien Lei on December 6th, 2005

Books are the best and preferred way to entertain my toddler in almost any situation. But there are only so many books I can fit into my bag without either me or the bag breaking.

On our family holiday this past weekend, I only brought one book and a stack of Brain Quest cards and I want to tell the makers, “THANK YOU!” We spent hours on the plane, in the shuttle, at the hotel looking through the stack, answering the questions, examining each picture for funnies, chatting, using it as a fan, and being entertained in general.

But what is Brain Quest, and how does one use it?

Brain Quest is the smart game where everybody wins. No matter what grade, age, or subject, Brain Quest challenges kids on the stuff they need to know, when they need to know it. In each box you get two decks of cards, held together at the bottom with a grommet. The questions are on one side of the card, and the answers are on the next card, so kids can play it alone or with friends, as a review of the grade just finished or preview of the grade to come. Teachers use it in school, parents pack them for vacation. And with its jazzy packaging, it’s the perfect birthday gift and stocking-stuffer.

I can’t wait to get more, especially Brain Quest Bedtime.
