What Kids Are Wearing in Russia
Russian parents with new money are feeling nostalgic for the days of czars and czarinas. They’re spending thousands of dollars on clothing for their children, including:
- A blue chinchilla vest for the young “modnitsi” by the Russian designer Marusya
- Roberto Cavalli boots that might fit a 5-year-old
- Mini-me Dior Jean jackets for €400 to match mom’s
You couldn’t pay me to wear those around town. But I guess things are different in Russia.
