2007 Toy Industry Hall of Fame Inductee: George Lucas
George Lucas of Star Wars fame has been named the 2007 Toy Industry Hall of Fame inductee which honors individuals who have made a mark on the American toy industry. Star Wars toys and games are among the best-selling toys in the industry’s history.
Robert Pasin, Toy Industry Hall of Fame Committee Chairman and CEO, Radio Flyer:
George Lucas’ devotion to timeless storytelling and cutting-edge innovation has resulted in some of the most successful and beloved films, and in turn, characters and toys of all time. Children and children-at-heart around the world have been enthralled and entertained, and will continue to be so through the classic toys and games based on his films.
My husband still can’t resist anything related to Star Wars anytime even if it’s something he’s seen a million times over. Star Wars certainly has the potential to mesmerize people forever.
