Worldwide Day of Play
Today is the Worldwide Day of Play! And to get kids away from the boob tube, Nickelodeon will not be broadcasting from 12-3 ET/PT. Shocking, isn’t it?

I see the importance of this day to help us realize that kids watch too much tv. Childhood obesity is definitely a problem.
Well, it’s almost 12:00. I guess my kids will be disappointed when their cartoons go off. They don’t get to watch a whole lot of tv though. Today is just a tv day because I am home with a sick one. :(

Karen: Sorry to hear about your sick kiddo. :( As for TV… everything in moderation, right?

Yes, moderation is good and there are good educational shows out there.
