Betty Crocker’s Spooky Brownies

by Kerri Aldrich on October 10th, 2006

abrownie.jpgHow fun do those look?!? I think it would be a fun project to do with the kids, as long as we don’t expect the results to look quite that professionally created in the end.

I mean, you get to do a project together, you get to eat brownies, and you have no craft for which you need to find a spot for the next few weeks until your kids forget about it and you can trash store it properly.

Head on over to Betty Crocker for the recipe and directions.

Wow, they look really great - perfection not really required either - if there’s an eye missing or it’s a bit lop-sided hey it’s a monster it was supposed to be like that :)

On the subject of displaying crafts and artworks, I did a post on making an art gallery - it works for me!

Erica: Good point! The creepier the better, right? I’ll have to check your post on the art gallery. Maybe an idea for when we finish the attic….

Those are cute. I’m laughing about your “storing crafts” comment.

Karen: heehee. I DO keep a few things, but the rest, well, just don’t tell my kids. :D

I do the same thing. I tell my husband to wait until my DD goes to bed to get rid of things. Then I make sure I cover it up with something else so she doesn’t see it. LOL

I do that, too!!! Funny. Gotta make sure it’s covered up so they don’t try to retrieve it! And so their feelings aren’t hurt. :( There’s just not room for everything!
