Hanna Andersson Children’s Clothing

by Hsien-Hsien Lei on December 8th, 2006

Hanna Andersson is one of my favorite clothing stores for both myself and my son. They’re clothes are colorful, fun, and sturdy (the children’s clothing more so than the women’s, in my experience). I especially like the comfy long johns.

But one of my frustrations is with their sales. Inevitably, if you don’t get to the website right when the sale starts, you’ll miss out on what you want because the sizes rapidly sell out then the style. ARGH. Thank goodness I’m not one of those parents who’s got to have the latest boutique designer clothing for my son.

What’s your favorite kids clothing label?

I like Hannah Anderson ALOT, but it’s just easier/cheaper for me to buy it on eBay than through their site. I can’t afford it as normal prices, and like you, when I try to get to their sales they rarely have things that will fit my kids (and I have four, so you’d think there’d at least be a few things that would work LOL).

Robyn: That’s a good point. I hear HA stuff has good resell value on eBay. Although the women’s clothes I’ve had hardly ever held up well. I never thought I was so hard wearing on clothes, though!

My suspicion about those online sales is that they’re leaked to family and friends of staff beforehand so those of us who aren’t in the know will rarely ever be able to get what we want. :(

I have to agree Hanna does sell out very quickly. I too have had to resort to eBay for some items. You should check out this site hannaShoppe.com that I am current building to help Hanna lovers out there find what they are looking for. Ebay is a great place to find some great deals. I bought a dress for my niece the other day for $3.56 you can’t beat that!
