Gift Cards for Kids
While I love giving gifts, I hate shopping for them (and wrapping them! ugh). I’d much rather give money or gift certificates (cards) instead. Fortunately, Chinese people are rather used to that so nobody thinks me a lazy lout.
In any case, as much as 72% of people (most of whom probably aren’t Chinese) are buying gift cards this season for kids 5 to 8 years old. And some even say that it’s a good way to teach kids the value of money. If all gift cards were as cute as this one from Target, I think it’s a rather nice present! What do you think?

While I prefer to buy gifts (even though I’m rubbish at wrapping), gift cards can be a great way not to stress. I’m getting one for my 15-year-old cousin this year.
