Guitar Hero II for PS2

by Kerri Aldrich on December 28th, 2006

Guitar Hero 2 Bundle with GuitarSo, I was all set to tell you about this fun new game, Guitar Hero II, that my family got addicted to on Christmas day while I was sniffling away in bed. Hsien had even twisted my arm convinced me to join her in the vlogging (I love using new made up words) arena and posting a video of me pretending to be a rock star. But it was not meant to be. After only three tries on the game, the green button on the controller ceased to work! Grrr…..And, of course, my sister blamed me for breaking her new game (yes, we are in our late 20s/early 30s—what’s your point?). I told her it broke from her non-stop use of it from Christmas day ’til now.

I can say that the three times I did play it, it was really fun. It is rated for Teens and older, and I can easily see how it would become addictive for both young adults and those of us no longer so young. :D If my sis gets a replacement, and actually lets me near it again, I may get that video out here yet!

How about your new Christmas toys? Anything else out there breaking?

[…] The Police are slated to reunite for a performance at this year’s Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 11th, and that will be my reason for watching the awards show. I’m not usually one to sit through these types of programs, but you can bet my butt will be planted to watch The Police! Or maybe I’ll just pretend to jam with them. I’ve been playing Message in a Bottle a bit on Guitar Hero II; it’s like I’m part of the band already. […]

[…] Strawberry Shortcake Dance Dance Revolution was one of the gifts my daughter received for her birthday. After watching her have a blast on the real Dance Dance Revolution for PS2 (when she could get us away from Guitar Hero), my sister thought this would be a fun gift for her niece. […]

[…] I stumbled onto BritMusicScene, and onto this post, specifically, about an 80’s edition of Guitar Hero. Oh My Gosh…I cannot wait! I can already feel vast expanses of my life being wasted away, and […]
