Wooden Toy Craft Kits
Hsien mentioning toys without batteries reminded me of the craft my oldest did at Michael’s this past weekend. Each child was given a kit to paint and assemble a wooden toy. They all had a such a fun time with their creations, and were very proud of their accomplishments!
In this age of all the high tech gadgets and toys marketed for kids, it’s good to be reminded that they can enjoy the simple activities in life!
What are your favorite non-high tech activities to enjoy with your kids?

Toys without batteries are a godsend. If it has batteries there is a good chance it will make noise too. Aaaaahhhh!!! :D

Yeah, I can’t stand it when the kids get toys that have neither an off switch nor a volume control!!! Those toys get “lost” very quickly. :D

My brother inlaw’s fiance bought my daughter a talking cheerleeder for her birthday. ack!
It says 4 different cheers. That thing is so annoying.

Sounds like it’s time for that cheerleader toy to have an unfortunate “accident.” ;)
