Yo Gabba Gabba! Whaaa?

by Hsien-Hsien Lei on January 23rd, 2007

Yo Gabba Gabba! is slated to join the preschool line-up at Nick Jr. From this video, it makes me wonder if it’ll go the way of the Boohbah (just click on the Boohbah logo to enter their fun interactive site!).

Yo Gabba Gabba! is a fun live-action program for young children ages 1 and up. Join our host DJ Lance Rock as he introduces us to friendly toy monsters in a magical land full of music, dance, colorful cartoons and simple life lessons that will get you and your children up off the floor to learn and dance along. Muno, the red cyclops, Foofa the pink flower bubble, Brobee the green little one, Toodee the blue cat-dragon, and Plex the robot are ready to sing, play and teach whenever you’re ready. Just say the magic words! YO GABBA GABBA!!

Here’s Yo Gabba Gabba on MySpace where there are more videos to enjoy. I particularly like this one about the magic please and thank you.

I think this one is a stretch for Nick Jr. Not sure if I care for it much. I didn’t like Boobah either. We’ll see what Girlie Girl thinks. Thanks for the heads up!

My kids love this show. I love the hip hop feel to it and the 80’s vibe.

I love the lessons the show teaches. The songs are great. We found out about this show when my son was 8 months old and he (and us) have been hooked ever since. It is my only peace. Whenever the show comes on my son is dancing and singing. It is so cool to see.
