Toy Story 3 To Be Released in 2009
Yee haw! Ride ‘em, Cowboy! ToyNews is reporting that Toy Story 3 will be released in 2009. The much beloved director of Toy Story 1 and 2, John Lasseter, won’t be directing the next Toy Story in the series but Lee Unkrich, who co-drected Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, and Finding Nemo, will be taking over. The big question is whether Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will be reprising their roles as Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Moviehole.net says they are.
Not only can’t we wait for the movie, we can’t wait for all the new toys! :D
In related news, Toy Story Mania is slated to open next year at Orlando’s Disney-MGM Studios and Disney’s California Adventure. It’s a 3-D video game ride complete with carnival games, including ring toss, darts, and toy cannons.
Who’s your favorite Toy Story character? We love Woody most.

SkylarKD: Hi! Based on what I’ve read, I’m pretty sure it’ll be in the theaters esp. since the big name stars are returning. Hopefully by then, my son will be ready to go see a movie in the cinema! So far he’s refused since he knows it’ll be “too noisy.”
