BBC Jam - Online Resource for Kids
BBC’s Cbeebies website gets frequent mention here at Play Library because we love the wide variety of shows and games available for the preschool set, including the ever popular Bob the Builder, Pingu, and Charlie and Lola. For Americans, there are also plenty of not-so-familiar characters you and your children will delight in like Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, and Underground Ernie. Cbeebies is wonderfully representative of British culture.
For older children, ages 5-16, who are already in school, BBC Jam is the next step up. The aim of the service is to provide additional tools for teachers as well as involve parents in their children’s education. The subject areas covered include:
- English for 5-7 year olds
- Maths 5-7
- Science 5-7, 7-9
- Geography 7-11
- History 5-7
- Music 7-11
- Citizenship 9-11

My kids used to go on it alot untill it shut down now i am very angry with the BBC!!!
