Playing with Ice Cream
Daffodils and crocuses are blooming and soon the weather will be warm enough to enjoy ice cream again! Can you believe my son hasn’t asked for ice cream or popsicles since the weather turned cold?
I just learned about the Play and Freeze Ice Cream Ball from Tracey at Foodie Obsessed. You put rock salt and ice in one end and ice cream mix in the other. Then all it takes is a game of catch to make ice cream. Just don’t drop it in that big puddle over there. You just never know what lurks within.

That is the coolest!!! heh, no pun intended. :) I imagine that it’s the same thing that can be accomplished with ziploc bags, but surely much more fun!

I still remember the ice cream maker my parents got when we were kids. What fun! And then there was summer camp when we handcranked it. Homemade ice cream really does taste better.
