Children’s Summer Bridge Activity Books - Make Summer Educational and Fun!
I’ve written before on PlayLibrary about how I love the products from Lakeshore Learning. Today, I received a great email from Lakeshore Learning announcing a 20% off discount on Summer Bridge Activity Books.
Lakeshore Learning offers award-winning Summer Bridge Activity Books for ages 3-13. The books use activities in language, math, science and more to help keep kids learning during the summer months and help to prepare them for the next grade level that they’ll enter at the start of the next school year.
Each book is 150 pages and also includes links to online activities. The books normally sell for $13.95, but with the 20% off discount which is valid until August 30th, the books are available for $11.16 eacy (no coupon code is necessary to get the discount).

We didn’t use this particular series of books, but we did use this type of activity book prior to starting kindergarten last year. Plus we worked on reading. As a result, my son - who is not good at paying attention - was able to keep up in class and even stay ahead of the game in some areas. We’ll continue learning throughout the summer before first grade as well.
