iPlay Aquatrax Deluxe Water Adventure System - Yay or Nay?

by Susan Gunelius on June 1st, 2008

iplay aquatrax water system toyIf you read PlayLibrary frequently, then you know my triplets’ fourth birthday is coming this summer. I gave them a catalog from Sensational Beginnings this week and asked them to tell me if they saw anything they wanted me to get them for their birthday. Of course, they wanted everything in the catalog, but one toy that really stood out to them was the iPlay Aquatrax Deluxe Water Adventure System.

I’ve seen toys like the iPlay Aquatrax Deluxe Water Adventure System before, and I’ve considered buying one. However, I haven’t been able to decide if a toy like this would actually be worth the hassle of setting it up and putting it away each time the kids want to use it. I’m wondering if it will lose its appeal very quickly (like after they push the boat around it 3 or 4 times). The iPlay Aquatrax Deluxe Water Adventure System is $99.95, so it’s a big investment. I want to feel confident it’s a toy they’ll use for a long time before I spend that much money!

What do you think of the iPlay Aquatrax Deluxe Water Adventure System? Does your child have this toy or a similar toy? Leave a comment and help me decide if I should get one for my kids or not.

    Hi,

I just got this for my 3 year old son and he LOVES it!!! It’s a hit with all the neighbor kids too. It’s the first toy he plays with every morning when we go outside. We just flip it over at night and dump the water out. Do not try to take it apart everytime. It took my husband the better part of an hour to assemble.

Quality construction. Fun toy. Great for their imagination. I actually got it for 49.99 at our local Marshall’s store. I also saw it in the catalog for $99.

I would recommend! Hope this helps!
