Melissa and Doug Magnetic Puzzle Books - Educational and Fun

My triplets received the Melissa and Doug Magnetic Puzzle Books - both the ABCs book and the Animals book, as gifts for their second Christmas. As you’d expect with any Melissa and Doug toy, these books are well made and perfect for children to grow into.

Good Night Our World Books - Educational and Fun

My husband takes our triplets to the library every week.  The kids love it, and we discover a lot of cool books that way.  For example, we found the Good Night Our World book series from our local library.
If you’re not familiar with the Good Night Our World series, it currently includes 33 titles each […]

Storytime at the Library: Pattern Bugs

Where Did Daddy’s Hair Go? by Joe O’Connor, illustrated by Henry Payne, shares a fun story of little Jeremiah and […]

Storytime at the Library: If you’re happy and you know it, The Jungle Edition

We were back to the library today for storytime and were introduced to a fun book entitled If You’re Happy And You Know It: The Jungle Edition. You can probably get the gist of the storyline, but there are “jungle specific” indicators of happiness throughout the book for parents and kids to exhibit together. […]

Math Matters: Count on Pablo

We missed our storytime at the library yesterday, being that it was a holiday and all, so we had our own little storytime at home today (not an uncommon occurrence).
One of the books that the kids brought out was Count on Pablo from the Math Matters Series. I can’t say that I’m even sure […]

Storytime at the Library: The Watering Hole

The theme for our library’s summer reading program this year is pirates, and so all of the books from this week’s storytime had some type of water or sea theme. My favorite of the bunch was The Water Hole by Graeme Base.
I’d never read one of Base’s books, and when I mentioned to […]
